How to scan your shop inventory fast on your iPhone
Most of the products have barcodes. So in order to do an inventory of your store, all you need is to scan all your barcodes and add them to a simple Excel file. In Excel you could have lots of additional information about your product description, price, supplier and others.
Many of the inventory systems out there are very complicated and will make you do a lot of setup, connect to databases, login to fancy IT backends in order to do this basic task: scan all your products to a file.

- Enable continues scan – this allows faster scanning where all barcodes are captures and displayed in camera view – PRO
- Enable Duplicate Detection – prevents double scanning and post editing. When you try to scan the same barcode, the app will display it as duplicate but it won’t recorded.
- Enable Prefixes – Very useful if your labels have lots of barcodes, with this you can select only barcodes that start with a specific Prefix. Like S – for Serial Number or P – for Part Number.. or simply 0.. that will only pick up barcodes that start with a zero.
